The Zagreb County Tourist Board is participating in the international fair Tempo Libero in Bolzano, one of the most relevant fairs for the promotion of active holidays, sustainable tourism and lifestyle content on the Italian market. The exhibition at the fair is being realized in cooperation with the Croatian Tourist Board and the representative office of the Republic of Croatia in Italy based in Milan, along with nine other Croatian regions.
Strategic joint approach of continental and coastal Croatia
In addition to Zagreb County, the continental offer is also represented by Medjimurje, while simultaneously promoting some coastal destinations. Such an integrated presentation model enables a comprehensive presentation of Croatia as a destination that successfully connects continental and coastal tourism, offering diverse products and experiences throughout the year.
In the context of increasingly pronounced trends in the dispersion of tourist traffic and the development of year-round tourism, this approach additionally contributes to the positioning of continental destinations on emission markets such as Italy.
InterWine as an example of the development of sustainable eno-gastro products
Special emphasis was placed on the InterWine project, co-financed through the Interreg Slovenia - Croatia program. The project is aimed at developing innovative eno-gastronomic products, connecting wine regions, and strengthening sustainable tourism and local producers, thereby further strengthening the competitiveness of the destination on the international market.
Participation in the Tempo Libero fair confirms the importance of strategic cooperation and joint presence in foreign markets, which are key to strengthening Croatia's visibility, but also for positioning Zagreb County as a destination that combines authenticity, quality and sustainable development.
Strengthening international visibility through collaboration
Participation in the Tempo Libero fair once again confirms the importance of a coordinated and strategic presence in foreign markets. Synergy between national and regional tourism organizations is crucial for strengthening Croatia's visibility, but also for differentiating individual destinations within the overall offer.
"A joint appearance on the international market shows the strength of cooperation and the importance of connecting different regions. It is through initiatives like this that we further strengthen the visibility of Croatia, but also clearly position Zagreb County as a quality, sustainable and authentic destination," she pointed out Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board Ivana Alilović.
