It was held yesterday. 5th session of the Croatian Tourist Board's Tourist Council at which it was adopted Decision on the selection of projects of local tourist boards in the touristic underdeveloped area and continent in 2026, according to which for a total of 229 projects approved amount of almost 4,3 million euros.
These are funds from the Fund for Tourism Underdeveloped Areas and the Continent, which are used to finance development projects and the creation of new tourism programs related to the development of tourist products, communication and advertising, destination management, and for projects that are implemented with funds from EU funds.
Also, at the session, following a public tender, the Decision on the engagement of a production company was adopted. Bunker Ltd. for recording services and creating a new promotional image video for Croatian tourism.
Let us recall that the promotional video "Ambassadors of Croatian Tourism", starring famous Croatian athletes, actors and artists, has won numerous prestigious international awards, such as the main prize at the Travel Video Awards in the "Best Video by a Tourism Organization" category, the Fitur Grand Prix for the best promotional video in a competition of 58 works from 11 countries, etc.
Additionally, at today's meeting, the Tourist Council unanimously confirmed Decision on the status of cooperation with the Croatian Ski Association, which suspends marketing cooperation with the Croatian Ski Association until further notice and terminates the existing Agreement on marketing cooperation due to reputational damage caused by the partner, of which the Croatian Ski Association was notified in writing.
