Vinkovci. The oldest city in Europe. The birthplace of the Sopot culture. It all began here. Located in an attractive location on the northern edge of the Bosut Plain, it has always attracted visitors. Its continuity of existence, under one name or another, dates back 8.300 years, while its longest history dates back to the Neolithic period, or the New Stone Age. Vinkovci has also been inhabited since 6.300 BC.
