As part of the ceremonial session of the Economic Council of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - Dubrovnik County Chamber, Valamar was awarded an award for 50 years of continuous hotel business in the Dubrovnik area, and on behalf of the Valamar Group, it was taken over by Ivan Karlić, Deputy Executive Vice President for operations in Valamar.
Hotels on Babin Kuk have been a continuous part of Dubrovnik's tourist offer for half a century. During that time, tourism trends, guest expectations and business standards have changed, but the focus on quality service, hospitality and destination development has remained constant.
Today, Valamar manages five hotels and one camping resort in the Dubrovnik area, continuing its development through investments in the quality of its offer, employees, and sustainable tourism management.
"This recognition has a special meaning for us because it marks 50 years of continuous presence of our hotels in Dubrovnik's tourist offer. We would like to thank the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - Dubrovnik County Chamber for the recognition, as well as all generations of employees who, over the past decades, with their knowledge, dedication and hospitality, have built the quality for which we are recognized today. We are proud of our long tradition, which we continue to develop through new investments, improving the quality of the offer and sustainable development of tourism in Dubrovnik", said Ivan Karlić, Deputy Executive Vice President for Operations at Valamar.
