The Association of Croatian Hotel Entrepreneurs (UPUHH) has expanded its activities by establishing Human Resources SectionsThe new section brings together leading experts from the HR sector of the most important hotel companies in Croatia with the aim of strengthening the role of human resources as a key pillar of the development of domestic tourism. The Section President was elected Tina Turk Lupieri, Human Resources Director at Maistra Hospitality Group.
The establishment of the Section is a response to the need for systematic improvement of professional standards in the field of human resources. The main objectives include the promotion of modern HR practices, mutual exchange of best practices, organization of trainings and workshops, monitoring of the legislative framework and providing expert initiatives to the competent authorities. Special emphasis is placed on strengthening cooperation between the economy and educational institutions in order to continuously align the competencies of hotel staff with market needs.
"The focus of our work will be on empowering experts in the field of human resources, because we believe that continuous learning, knowledge exchange and competence development are the foundation of personal and organizational development. Through the work of the Section, we want to connect human resources experts, encourage cooperation and create a space for learning, sharing experiences and exchanging best practices.", said the president of the Section on the occasion of its establishment Tina Turk Lupieri.
The strategic importance of this initiative is confirmed by the composition Executive Committee, in which representatives of leading tourism companies and professional associations were appointed: Tina Turk Lupieri (Maistra Hospitality Group), Matej Lufčić (Adriatic tourism), Ana Gazic (Tourist hotel), Natali Komen Bujas (Croatian employers association), Jan Baksa (Aminess), Sara Posavec (St. Martin Thermal Baths), Ivana Halembek (Blue Lagoon), Petra Maja Jakopec (Valamar), Isabella Frančula (Arena Hospitality Group), Branka Medic (Sun hotels), Aurelija Radeljic (Hilton Hotels Zagreb), Matej Rukavina (Solaris Group), Natasa Kovacic (Hilton Rijeka), Martina Rajakovic (ALH), Barbara Olenik Staničić (Adriatic Crikvenica), Marina Radovic (Hotels Krk), Sanjin Frankovic (Rabac Olive Grove), Tihana Radojkovic (Millennium Hotels).
