The Association of Unique Croatian Hotels Impresia has launched the fourth edition of the "Get to know our stories", an educational cycle intended for primary and secondary school students, with the aim of approaching real career opportunities in tourism.
The "Discover Our Stories" program provides students with direct insight into the work of hotels, campsites, travel agencies, and high-end restaurants, where they learn about different professions, work processes, and career development opportunities.
This year's cycle also includes the participation of eight vocational school students in culinary Masterclass workshops at the prestigious international school Ecole Ducasse, which further strengthens the program's practical education and gastronomy segment.
"Impresia is growing stronger year by year, whether through programs that enable us to transfer knowledge to young people and strengthen the future workforce in tourism, or through the business development of our members and the expansion of membership. At the same time, the sector expects sustainability, quality of service and an authentic experience, so we want to show students what it's like to work in a professional environment where every detail matters, and the local workforce plays a key role.", he stated Nenad Nizic, president of the Impresia Association.

National project "Sustainable Tourism, Sustainable Careers - Fast Forward to Excellence" implies the largest collaboration to date between associations representing the hotel, camping and gastronomic sectors, as well as the luxury and boutique segment of Croatian tourism.
The aim of this joint action is to achieve a synergistic effect of the complementary activities that each association carries out within the project, achieve greater reach of target groups and ensure overall better results. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports emphasizes the importance of the program because it connects young people with employers and real work environments.
"The project "Get to know our stories" fits harmoniously with the Ministry's goals, from motivating young people for tourism careers to strengthening competencies and increasing the visibility of careers in the sector. Cooperation between educational institutions and employers is key to quality human resource development, and such programs provide young people with experiences that greatly shape their professional decisions.", she said no connection, director of the Directorate for Sustainable Development and Public Tourism Infrastructure in the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
Impresia has also recently expanded its membership to include the wellness and wholeness hotel Materra. Materra stands out with a concept that combines contemporary design, sustainability and a strong connection to the local Slavonian landscape.
"Membership in Impresija is an opportunity for us to engage in professional exchange, develop new collaborations, and implement standards that contribute to the quality of our business. We recognize the value of the association in connecting hotels that share a similar vision of development, and we see such an environment as stimulating for further improvement of our offer.", she said Nina Dumancic, director of the Materra Hotel.
Materra's membership represents an important step forward for Impresia, as it further strengthens the association's presence on the continent, where the potential of sustainable and luxury tourism is increasingly evident. In this way, Impresia expands its offer beyond the most famous coastal destinations and contributes to positioning continental Croatia on the international map of high-quality and sustainable hospitality.

The program is open to final year students primary schools, secondary tourism and hospitality schools and language grammar schools, and applications are open until February 1, 2026 on the official website https://naseprice.impresiacroatia.com/hr/nase-price/.
This year it is being implemented as an integral part of the national project "Sustainable Tourism, Sustainable Careers - Fast Forward to Excellence", which Impresia is implementing with the support and co-financing of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and in partnership with the Croatian Hotel Entrepreneurs' Association (UPUHH), the Croatian Camping Association (KUH) and the Jeunes Restaurateurs Association (JRE).
