In 2016, a total of 473,261 tourists stayed in non-commercial accommodation facilities in the Republic of Croatia. Of these, 30,0% were domestic tourists, and 70,0% were foreign tourists, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). Thus, tourists spent a total of 9.898.022 overnight stays, of which 48,1% were domestic tourists, and 51,9% were foreign tourists.
