In August 2017, 4,2 million tourists visited commercial accommodation facilities, which is 6% more than in August 2016, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). Tourists spent 26,8 million overnight stays, of which 6% were domestic tourists and 94% were foreign tourists. Compared to August 2016, tourists spent 5% more overnight stays.
