The Tourist Board of the City of Crikvenica has launched a Public Call for Grants from the "Support for the Development of Tourist Events" program in the area of the City of Crikvenica in 2022. Grants will be awarded for events in the area of the City of Crikvenica of local, regional and/or international importance that contribute to:
• improving/enriching the tourist product/offer of the City of Crikvenica,
• development of tourism and cultural and historical heritage,
• improving the quality of the tourist offer,
• promotion of the City of Crikvenica as a tourist destination,
• increasing the number of overnight stays,
• the development of content that enables the extension of the tourist season,
• increase in catering and other tourist traffic, especially in the pre-season and post-season,
• creating a recognizable image of tourism for the City of Crikvenica,
• increasing the marketing value of the destination.
Project proposals under this Public Call may be submitted within the scope of the work of associations, clubs, societies or other legal and natural persons that present various events, forms of presentation and expression of quality in the field of culture and cultural heritage, sports, education, marking of significant events or dates, etc., and which are organized for the purpose of entertainment, information and contribute to raising the quality and quantity of the offer in the area of the City of Crikvenica. especially outside the tourist season and create a recognizable image of the City of Crikvenica.
Financial resources in the amount of 300.000 kuna will be distributed to applicants who meet the conditions of the Public Call. The minimum amount of financial resources that can be applied for and contracted per individual event is 1.000, and the maximum is 50.000 kuna. It is planned to co-finance approximately up to 45 projects.
The public call and all forms are published on the website of the Crikvenica Tourist Board, and the deadline for submitting applications is March 10, 2022.
