Nature tourism remains a rising trend, and according to a TUI Musement study, more than 57% of respondents expressed a strong interest in outdoor activities.
Based on the aforementioned trend, TUI Musement he did an analysis to find out the most popular European national parks based on Google search trends. National Parks (NP) Croatian Waters in overall ranking!
From towering mountains to crystal-clear lakes and lush forests, the list features five spectacular destinations for a recharge and connection with nature - according to TUI Musement. What is significant about Croatia, Plitvice Lakes National Park i NP Krka are at the top of searches.
The ranking is based on more than 400 national parks across Europe, using data on global Google search volume for each park's name, both in the original language and in English translation (January–December 2024).
Overall ranking (global search volume):
• National park Plitvice Lakes (Croatia): 2.286.500 searches
• Krka National Park (Croatia): 1.390.700 searches
• Peak District National Park (United Kingdom): 1.343.500 searches
• Thingvellir National Park (Iceland): 961.500 searches
• Ojców National Park (Ojcowski Park Narodowy) (Poland) : 813.800 searches
