The World Camping Festival in Zaton Holiday Resort gathered campers from 36 countries

Turisthotel's Zaton Holiday Resort hosts prestigious tourist event FICC World Camping Festival which runs until July 1. The festival brings together numerous camping enthusiasts from Europe and the world, and the goal, among other things, is to further popularize camping as one of the most sustainable and resilient forms of tourism.

More than 100,000 people gathered at the popular domestic camping resort 700 campers from 36 countriesAs part of the festival on Thursday, World Camping Day will be celebrated for the first time.

"The potential of Croatia and our camping tourism has long been recognized, and the excellent results in the current part of the season confirm this. Events like this encourage us to be even better at what we do and to continuously develop our offer and service with the guest in the center of attention.", said Marinko Marinović from Turisthotel.

How the Croatian camp will host the new edition of the Festival it was decided last year at the world congress of the Federation Internationale de Camping et Caravanning (FICC) association in Paris, which was also attended by representatives of the Zaton Holiday Resort, who introduced the participants to the rich offer of the resort and the Zadar region.

The Festival's program is diverse and will provide participants with the opportunity to experience the beauties of the Zadar region, celebrate coexistence with nature, and foster friendship and understanding among the nations and cultures of the participants, thanks to a rich offer of excursions.
