Outdoor, culture and gastronomy
The island of Lošinj is recognized as an active vacation destination with more than 300 kilometers of hiking and cycling trails that pass through pine forests and along the coast. Of particular note is the international race XTERRA Croatia (May 8-10), which annually brings together athletes from all over the world.
This year, the Apoxyomenos Museum celebrates ten years since its opening, and on April 29, the anniversary exhibition "Touch of Time: A Decade of the Apoxyomenos Museum" opens. Maritime heritage is also presented through the renovated Nerezinac Loger - an interpretation center dedicated to the life of the island's sailors and shipbuilders.
