On the occasion of this day, in light of the promotion and raising awareness of protected Croatian products, the Fair of Croatian Protected Products is organized every year. This year, the Fair will be held on April 23rd and 24th in Osijek during the 2nd conference FOOD COOL TOUR which is an opportunity to see for yourself the exceptional quality of Croatian products gathered in one place.

It is worth mentioning that since 2018, the Croatian Post has been issuing a series of commemorative postage stamps every other year on April 14th under the title "Croatian Protected Agricultural and Food Products", featuring alternating motifs of Croatian protected products. This year, the series has been issued for the fifth time, and the motifs are the PDO "Slavonski kulen" / "Slavonski kulin", the PDO "Lika Škripavac" and the PDO "Ludbreški hren".
