The Croatian Rural Tourism Association continues to hold educational field workshops "My Rural" on the importance and promotion of rural tourism.
After 33 workshops held in Central Croatia, Slavonia, Istria, Kvarner and Dalmatia, the Croatian Rural Tourism Association continues to hold educational workshops on rural tourism. Four workshops will be held for Lika-Senj, Šibenik-Knin, Zadar and Karlovac counties, organized in cooperation with county tourist boards and local action groups, with financial support from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
The workshops will be held on December 7th in Gospić, December 8th in Šibenik, December 9th in Zadar and December 10th in Karlovac, and registration is open until December 6th, 2021.
"We are extremely pleased that all four county tourist boards responded to our invitation and actively participated in organizing the workshops. This is proof of their interest in further popularizing rural tourism and recognizing the Digital Catalogue of Rural Tourism as an important tool for digital promotion on domestic and foreign markets.", emphasized Aleksandra Kuratko Pani, head of the Croatian Rural Tourism Association, announcing the opening of applications for workshops.

Workshop topics include the legislative framework and business challenges, the importance of integrating cultural heritage into digital promotion and information on new tourism trends. A web application is also presented at the workshop my-countryside.hr managed by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, which aims to collect data on service providers for the Digital Catalogue of Rural Tourism of the Republic of Croatia. By registering in the application, users gain the right to free promotion via the Croatian Tourist Board website croatia.hr.
The association invites all rural tourism service providers from the above-mentioned counties, i.e. farmers who also provide hospitality or tourism services, to attend the workshops. Representatives of local tourist boards and associations are also invited to the workshops, which are held in accordance with the applicable epidemiological measures.
Interested participants from Lika-Senj, Šibenik-Knin and Zadar counties can register by December 6.12th (Monday) via pattern on the website of the Croatian Rural Tourism Association idemonaselo.hr where they can also get additional information about the workshops. Participants from Karlovac County apply directly to the Karlovac County Tourist Board via the web form here.
