According to data from the Croatian National Bank (CNB), in the first nine months of 2016, tourism revenues, or foreign visitors, amounted to 7 billion and 902 million euros, which represents an increase of 8,3 percent or 603,3 million euros compared to the same period in 2015. In that period, the share of travel and tourism revenues in total GDP amounted to 23,1 percent, which is 23.1 percent compared to the same period in 2015.
