"The Zagreb County Tourist Board knows that being in step with the times means thinking not only about our visitors today, but also about the needs of our visitors tomorrow. All those younger, future generations who are always looking for something different. The interactive experience of getting to know our region through virtual walks in 10 locations allows us to bring the beauties of Velika Gorica closer to everyone, regardless of their location, in 67 world languages. This innovation not only opens the door to the Turopolje heritage, but also creates bridges between history and modernity. Above all, it is another indicator of how many sustainable ways we can tell our past, but also bring the beauties of our region closer. Sustainable and smart, using modern technologies as a tool in the service of promoting and modernizing the offer. Our task is to constantly think and innovate." Alilović pointed out.

The web platform is the result of many years of work and cooperation, and represents a unique tourist guide through the beauties of Velika Gorica and the Turopolje region, all the way to Vukomeričke Gorice and Vrhovje.

Since our wooden chapels are mostly closed and prior notice is required for tours, visitors will be able to stand in front of the chapel and start a virtual walk with their mobile phone and thus view the interior of the chapel.

It is interesting that foreign tourists will also be able to read and listen to stories in their own language at the same time using the application. Using artificial intelligence, Touropolje.com translates text into 20 languages with the possibility of expansion to as many as 67 world languages.

In the coming period, we will intensively promote this tool of ours so that it is available and so that all potential users, foreigners but also our fellow citizens who may have forgotten the stories of our region, hear about it. In keeping with trends, in the guide it is possible, for example, to listen to everything you are interested in in Korean because Croatia Airlines has just introduced a new airline for visitors from South Korea." she said Maja Toth, director of the Tourist Board of the City of Velika Gorica.

QR codes have also been placed at 20 locations, scanning which leads directly to content about the location, and using navigation will take you to other attractions.
