Famous Croatian hotelier, 85-year-old Anđelko Leko, died on Thursday in Zagreb, Večernji list reports. The long-time director of the HUP hotel company, whose portfolio also includes the Westin and Sheraton hotels in Zagreb, recently sold his majority stake to the Adris group and announced his retirement from the business, which he had been in since he started working as a young waiter at the Pivovara in Ilica in 1959.
