With the aim of promoting halal food and raising awareness of its importance, girls and women gathered through the Women's Council of the Sisak Community Center "Nahla" designed and prepared the first halal cookbook in Croatia, entitled "From Nahla's Halal Kitchen". The cookbook is published by the Center for Halal Quality Certification, and halal food, by its characteristics, is in full accordance with modern principles of proper nutrition.
