Poreč opens public call for support for events in 2027

Poreč Tourist Board has issued a public call for awarding grants to events in 2027, and organizers can submit their applications until October 20, 2026.

The emphasis is on events that can motivate tourists and contribute to extending the tourist season.

The call is intended for events of international, national or regional importance that take place in the area of ​​the City of Poreč - Parenzo. The aim of the support is to enrich the tourist offer of the destination and encourage the development of content that creates additional reasons to come, especially outside the main summer monthsAmong the goals is to increase catering and other tourist traffic in the pre-season and post-season, while strengthening the recognition and marketing value of Poreč tourism.

This orientation places the event in the context of the development of the destination's tourism product.

Their role is not limited to additional content for guests already staying in Poreč, but through the invitation they are recognized as a possible main motive for the trip. For the organizers, this means that the program they are applying for should be linked to the goals of the destination and its contribution to the tourist offer.

The support is intended for the organization and realization of various events, from programs in the fields of culture, art and entertainment to sports and eno-gastronomic events. The call also includes events that rely on history and tradition, as well as congresses and other events that can contribute to the set goals.

The opportunity to apply is open to a wide range of organizers from the business, public and civil sectors. In addition to companies, crafts and cooperatives, institutions and artistic organizations, associations and national sports federations, and local and regional self-government units can apply, in accordance with the terms of the public call.

Applications with all required documentation are submitted electronically via the eApplication system, and the deadline is October 20, 2026 at 23:59:59 PM.
