In the period from January to August 2019, 58 foreign cruise ships called at Croatian seaports, making 466 cruises. These ships carried 733 passengers, who stayed in Croatia for 929 days, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). The largest number of trips was made by ships flying the flags of Malta (137 trips) and the Bahamas (79 trips).
