PLACE2GO, the only tourism fair in Croatia, brought together more than 200 exhibitors from 20 countries on four continents this weekend and attracted a large number of domestic and foreign visitors.
At the Zagreb Fair, visitors had the opportunity to get to know the diverse tourist offer and participate in a rich program of panels, workshops and presentations. This year, exhibitors from Madagascar, Germany and Kosovo participated in the fair for the first time, while representatives from Finland and Spain attended the business section for the first time. The fair was divided into two parts, B2B Friday, intended for networking of tourism professionals, and B2C weekend, which was open to the wider public.

The PLACE2GO fair attracted the attention of visitors with its diverse offer of destinations and unique travel experiences. Algeria presented itself to visitors with the aim of connecting with Croatian tour operators, while adventurers were particularly interested in the offer Madagascar with its unique nature and Antarktika as the ultimate frontier of research. In addition to exotic destinations, Croatian destinations such as Abbeys, which attracts visitors throughout the year. One of this year's novelties was Travel Market, where visitors could buy travel packages at special fair prices, and special attention was paid to the youngest. In cooperation with the portal Family Welcome, creative and educational workshops were organized in the children's corner, where children learned through play about topics such as water conservation, learning about the underground and above-ground world, the protection of marine organisms, and large carnivores.
