Applications are open for the Annual Croatian Tourism Awards 2026.

Online applications are open for Annual Croatian Tourist Awards 2026, which will be awarded this year to the best of the best in Croatian tourism as part of Days of Croatian tourism (DHT) which will be held November 19th and 20th, 2026 in Poreč, in the newly opened Valamar Pical Resort.

It is a joint project. Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Croatian National Tourist Board i Croatian Chamber of Commerce which encourages competitiveness, innovation and sustainable development and improves the quality of tourism products and services. The award ceremony itself will be held as part of the DHT closing ceremony, with a live television broadcast. Croatian Radio and Television.

Awards will be presented in numerous categories covering various aspects of the tourism offer, including Tourist Event or Festival of the Year, DMK Tourist Package of the Year, Gastronomic Experience of the Year, and awards for achievements in sustainable, business, active, cultural, nautical, rural and health tourism.

Special attention will be paid to people in tourism - the Annual Award "Anton Štifanić" will be awarded to individuals, companies, institutions and associations, the Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as the prestigious award "Man, the Key to Success - Employee of the Year". The crowning glory of the ceremony will be the announcement of the most desirable destination of the year, i.e. the award ceremony "Champion of Croatian tourism".

In the nautical tourism segment, awards will be given to the best large and small marinas and charter companies. Awards will also be given for Beach of the Year, Promotional Campaign of the Year and Camp of the Year - with an additional division into large and small camps. In the Hotel of the Year category, recognition will be given to the best hotels in the luxury, boutique, heritage, congress, lifestyle, wellness hotel and family vacation hotel segments.

In the Tourist Destination of the Year category, awards will be presented to destinations in several subcategories, including rural, city break, continental, coastal, island and authentic coastal destinations. Following last year's inaugural award, this year's awards will once again be presented to best hosts - Local Host/Your host, from each county and the city of Zagreb, while at the national level the overall best host will be announced.

Entry Form for the Annual Croatian Tourism Awards are open to all stakeholders in Croatian tourism and represent an opportunity to present excellence and examples of best practices, promote them and receive public recognition. 

The deadline for submitting applications for all categories via official website DHT is 4. September 2026.
