At the 10th Session of the Parliament, which was held on November 21, 2018, the final proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Income Tax Law was voted on. What the new Law brings is that the amount of the flat-rate tax for renters is no longer set by the Ministry of Tourism, but by local governments, i.e. cities and municipalities, independently. The Law also defines that the flat-rate tax must not be less than 150 kuna or more than 1.500 kuna.
