The third edition of the international boat show Dalmatia Boat Showw, which is being held in Marina Baotić from April 16th to 19th, confirms the growth and international significance of this event, it was said today at a press conference in Seget Donji.

This year's edition brings together 180 exhibitors from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy, Austria and Germany, with more than 200 vessels exhibited on land and sea. Special emphasis is placed on nine premieres, among which are the models Absolute 70 Fly, Absolute Navetta 53, Bali 5.2, Hanse 590, Pardo 43 and a number of attractive dinghies and daily boats.

"We are extremely pleased that important international exhibitors who have not participated before are also participating this year, which confirms the growth and importance of the fair. We are continuously investing in development and improvement - from expanding capacity to the quality of content, with the aim of making the Dalmatia Boat Show an even stronger platform for the nautical industry and achieving concrete business results.", said the owner of Marina Baotić and initiator of the Dalmatia Boat Show Željko Baotić.

The Deputy Prefect of the Split-Dalmatia County, Stipe Čogelja, congratulated the organizers on the excellent organization of the fair.

"Dalmatia Boat Show strongly reflects the development guidelines of the Split-Dalmatia County through four key pillars - inclusive, excellent, green and digital Dalmatia. We especially emphasize the importance of excellence in nautical and the development of the culture of nautical tourism, which is crucial for the sustainable and quality development of the destination", said the deputy prefect.

At the conference, the organizers emphasized that one of the strategic focuses of the fair is the promotion of Seget Donji, Dalmatia and Croatia as a top nautical destination, with an emphasis on sustainable tourism and a responsible attitude towards the sea.

"With the start of sailing from our marinas, the tourist season begins, which, according to current indicators, is recording a growth of about ten percent compared to last year. Our focus is on the quality of the experience, and the Split-Dalmatia County, with its top-notch infrastructure and nautical offer, is increasingly confirming itself as one of the most attractive destinations in the Mediterranean, with continuous growth in demand and additional investments in the development of nautical tourism."", emphasized the director of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board Ivana Vladović.

The Mayor of Seget Municipality, Ivo Sorić, said that Marina Baotić is an extremely important infrastructural and environmentally conscious facility for Seget.

"Marina Baotić and the Dalmatia Boat Show further strengthen the position of Seget as a destination of quality and sustainable tourism, encouraging the development of the local economy and supporting infrastructure. The Municipality of Seget will continue to provide strong support for such projects that contribute to the promotion and long-term development of the destination", said the mayor.

Relevant event in the nautical industry

"Events like the Dalmatia Boat Show are an important driver of the nautical sector and the start of the season. Through professional meetings and cooperation with the industry at this fair, we are focused on identifying challenges and further improving the competitiveness of the sector in the coming period."", said the president of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - Split County Chamber Joze Tomaš.

In addition to the business and exhibition segment, visitors can also expect a rich accompanying program. On Saturday, April 18, the American Muscle Cars Show will be held with 20 vehicles on display and the presentation of the Zaza collection by fashion designer Anamarija Asanović. 

The Sunday program, April 19th, includes an ecological underwater cleanup campaign in collaboration with the Sveti Roko diving club from Bibinje, an educational workshop for children "Marine Organisms in the Adriatic", and a training regatta for the optimist class in collaboration with the sailing club from Trogir.

Additional confirmation of the quality and international recognition of the Dalmatia Boat Show as a relevant event in the nautical industry is represented by its entry into the International Federation of Boat Show Organizers, a global association of nautical fair organizers.

"Joining the prestigious Federation is a great recognition for us, but also a confirmation that the Dalmatia Boat Show meets high international standards of organization and quality. This opens up additional opportunities for networking with leading world fairs and further strengthening Croatia's position on the global nautical map.", said organizing committee member Aleksandra Bujević.
