The Međimurje County Tourist Board presented a new inclusive guide "Međimurje is equally yours", a publication that provides information on the accessibility of tourist content in one place and facilitates travel planning for people with disabilities, blind and partially sighted people, but also for all visitors who need reliable information about the accessibility of a destination.
The new guide represents another step in the development of inclusive and sustainable tourism in Međimurje, with the aim of enabling everyone to explore the northernmost Croatian county in a safer, simpler and more carefree way.
The publication contains an overview of the accessibility of numerous tourist attractions, including natural attractions, cultural sites, accommodation facilities, visitor centers, events and other tourist locations throughout Međimurje. Visitors can find information before their arrival that will help them plan their stay and choose the content that suits their needs.
The Međimurje County Tourist Board emphasizes that the availability of quality information is one of the key prerequisites for the development of accessible tourism. Clear accessibility data enables greater independence during travel, reduces uncertainty and contributes to a more pleasant tourist experience.
In recent years, Međimurje has been systematically developing a tourism offer based on sustainability, authentic experiences and inclusiveness. It offers visitors a combination of untouched nature, rivers and green landscapes, rich cultural heritage, active holidays, top-notch eno-gastronomy, local products and internationally awarded wines.
The new inclusive guide additionally confirms the destination's efforts to make tourism accessible to everyone, regardless of their capabilities or needs.
Guide "Međimurje is equally yours" it is available for free in the digital edition and is a practical tool for planning trips and getting to know the destination without obstacles.
The Međimurje County Tourist Board emphasizes that the goal of the guide is to create a destination where diversity is not an obstacle, but rather part of the richness of the tourist experience, so they say to all visitors: ""Go explore Međimurje with more security, freedom and peace. Because Međimurje is equally yours."
