International fair of food, drinks and equipment for tourism Promo hotel opens its doors for the 40th time, confirming its role as a key business platform for all participants in the tourism and hospitality sector. The fair will take place from 5 to 8 March in the Žatika Hall in Poreč, on a total of 5.000 m² of exhibition space, bringing together more than 150 international exhibitors with more than 500 global brands.
Promohotel is a traditional place for the exchange of knowledge and business opportunities for Istria and the region that gravitates towards Poreč. "Quality content, networking and innovations that improve tourism business have been Promohotel's imperative since the first edition of this specialized fair. Today, when the tourism sector is at a turning point and when guests expect top-notch service and an unforgettable experience, Promohotel provides valuable information, contacts and inspiration for optimizing business and further improving the experience. This year too, we expect high attendance, active participation and exchange of experiences from all participants. Our guests always leave the fair with new knowledge and tools that will help them improve their business, which is the purpose of our work" the fair director said Ivana Štiković.
Support for this important event is provided by City of Poreč-Parenzo, recognizing his contribution to the local community and the promotion of the city as a center of innovation in tourism. "Poreč is the champion of Croatian tourism and it is completely logical that such a fair is held in our city. Promohotel is now, traditionally, a kind of announcement of the season, because we all know that its holding marks the end of winter and the beginning of preparations for the new tourist season. As an international fair, it paved the way for other fairs and proved that Poreč can organize large international fairs and events with quality. Also, 40 editions of the fair in our city are proof of the quality of Promohotel and the fair's readiness to adapt through challenging times, but in a way that always remains interesting and attractive to both exhibitors and visitors.", the mayor pointed out Loris Peršurić.
In this year's edition Education Point, a professional education program focused on improving the quality of services in the sector, with an emphasis on sustainability, human resources, artificial intelligence and sales. Thus, through concrete examples, it will be seen how AI can improve sales, improve customer relationships and increase business efficiency, with a discussion of challenges such as replacing human workers with automation and chatbots.
