Croatia is one of the first partners in the Interreg Europe Local Flavours project, which has developed an action plan, reports the Institute for Tourism (IZTZG). The main goal of the project is to improve policies that will encourage the sustainable use of cultural heritage in small and medium-sized cities with a rich history that, due to their peripheral location, have not been able to fully exploit its potential.
