On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of work and activity CNTB representative offices in Poland, Croatian tourist agency is in collaboration with Zadar County Tourist Board, in the beautiful surroundings of the Polonia Palace Hotel in Warsaw, organized the celebration of this significant anniversary in the presence of about 130 guests, including representatives of numerous partners, tour operators, agencies, institutions, and Polish media.

"This anniversary represents much more than just a number. It is a symbol of 25 years of work, effort, trust and friendship between Croatia and Poland. Through numerous promotional activities and cooperation, our country has become a destination to which Polish guests are happy to return. This is best confirmed by the fact that Poland has been among the five most important markets for Croatian tourism for many years. Namely, in 2001, the number of overnight stays by Polish guests in Croatia amounted to 2,5 million, and in 2025, that number will almost triple and reach more than 7 million overnight stays. Such results show how much Polish tourists appreciate Croatia's safety, quality, closeness and hospitality, as well as the tourist offer that attracts them to our destinations during the pre- and post-season. In this context, quality transport connections, namely our strategic partner LOT Polish Airlines, which connects Warsaw with the airports in Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik, also play an important role. I am glad that in this way we are together building Croatia's position as an interesting and year-round destination, while simultaneously strengthening Croatian tourism on the Polish market.", he said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, thanking Polish partners, media and tourism sector stakeholders for 25 years of work, dedication and mutual respect.

At the very beginning, it was crucial to build awareness about our country and bring the main advantages of Croatia as a tourist destination closer to the public. Today, we talk about Croatia in a much broader context and with great ambition we present the diversity of our regions, authentic local experiences, travel outside the main summer months, cultural heritage, wine and gastronomy and active holidays. This jubilee that we are celebrating together confirms that tourism promotion is a long-term process based on trust, consistency and cooperation between partners from both countries. It is precisely such an approach that greatly contributes to the strong connection of Polish tourists with Croatia, a country that they continuously want to discover throughout the year.", she said Kowalska.

As part of the event, a short film was shown film about 25 years of the CNTZ Representative Office in PolandIn addition, the Zadar County Tourist Board and the platform were also presented. "Stories - Experience Premium Croatia" Croatian Chamber of Commerce.

The Polish market is certainly one of our most important source markets, so I can say with pleasure that Zadar County has been recording a continuous increase in arrivals and overnight stays of guests from Poland in recent years. Participation in this anniversary is an additional confirmation of our strong connection and quality cooperation with Polish partners and guests. The fact that planes from Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Poznan, Rzeszow and Wroclaw, and of course Warsaw, fly to Zadar Airport during the season speaks for itself.", he concluded Vanja Čvrljak, director of the Zadar County Tourist Board.
