Presentation of Croatia for German and French agents in Europa-Park in Rust

CNTB representative offices in Frankfurt, Munich i Paris organized a joint cross-border presentation for tourism and MICE agents on May 31 Europa-Park in Rust, right on the German-French border.

The presentation was realized in collaboration with Valamar, and the topics covered included news in the Croatian tourist offer with a special emphasis on the Valamar offer and the new Pical hotel project, and also marked the one-year anniversary of the opening of the Croatian theme area in Europa-Park, as well as the 50th anniversary of the amusement park itself in Rust.

In the large audience, which numbered over a hundred people, there were mainly agents from the German province of Baden-Württemberg, the French department of Grand Est and Switzerland, so the presentations were held in German and French. Director of the HTZ Representative Office in Frankfurt, Romeo Draghicchio, opened the evening by thanking all participants of this special event, introduced the organizers and outlined the program. The directors of the representative offices in Munich and Paris, Nera Milicic i Daniela Mihalic Đurica, presented the potential of the Croatian tourism offer and new hotel projects that will soon be coming to the market.

Representatives of Valamar, Lana Radolovic i Nikolina Prgomet, presented the entire Valamar offer, with special attention paid to the new Pical hotel. The guests were also addressed by the Consul General of the Republic of Croatia in Stuttgart, Ivan SablicAmong those present was the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in Freiburg, Miriam Mack, which plays an important role in the management of Europa-Park.

After the presentations, the guests joined the celebration of the Croatian Statehood Day, organized by the Consulate General in Stuttgart and the Honorary Consulate in Freiburg, with the presence of numerous guests from the economic and cultural life of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. On that occasion, Croatian wines and gastronomic specialties were served.

The evening continued with a visit to the Croatian theme park, which has welcomed two million guests in just one year of operation. Participants had the opportunity to watch the 360° film "Beautiful Croatia" and try out the Voltron Nevera rollercoaster powered by Rimac, which was declared the best coaster in the world for 2024.

All participants expressed great satisfaction with the entire event. The combination of German and French guests further enriched the atmosphere and contributed to a positive impression. Agents showed great interest in new hotel facilities in Croatia. The very southwest of Germany and the east of France are also connected by direct flights from the airports of Baden-Baden, Basel and Strasbourg to Zagreb, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik, which further opens up opportunities for increasing interest among the residents of this economically strong area in vacationing in Croatia.

Let us add that Europa-Park, as part of its partnership with the Croatian Tourist Board, organized a "Croatian Weekend" from May 30 to June 1 with a large number of activities for its guests on the theme of Croatia, and the park itself was extremely well visited that weekend, with an average daily number of guests of 40 thousand.
