The Commission has proposed a new roaming regulation to ensure that citizens can continue to enjoy roaming without additional charges when travelling within the EU. The new regulation will extend the current rules, which are due to expire next year, for another 10 years and will also provide travellers with better services. For example, users will be entitled to the same quality and speed of their mobile network connection as in their home country.
