The European Commission has created the GIview portal, which provides an overview of all geographical indications of products protected in the EU, including indications in the process of protection and geographical indications of countries that are not members of the EU. Information about a specific product is displayed in the form of a GI card, which contains contact details of the geographical indication producer groups and control bodies, the production area in which the product is produced, the geographical indication of the product
