The European Travel Agents and Tour Operators Associations (ECTAA) is calling on EU regulators to more effectively protect EU passengers from the consequences of airline insolvency. As ECTAA points out in its statement, following a record number of air transport failures in 2017, ECTAA is calling on the European Commission to introduce an adequate mechanism to protect EU passengers from the consequences of airline insolvency.
