PPHE Hotel Group opens new art'otel in Rome

In the very heart of the Eternal City of Rome, it has opened art'otel Rome Piazza Sallustio a new five-star boutique lifestyle hotel dedicated to art and culture, which is part of the unique art'otel concept.

The art'otel brand is already recognized in London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Cologne and is part of PPHE Hotel Group, within which Arena Hospitality Group opened art'otel Zagreb at the end of 2023. After the successful opening of the art'otel in Zagreb and the special gastronomic concept YEZI, the success story under the art'otel brand continues in Rome.

The hotel continues its tradition by combining art, gastronomy, design and contemporary luxury. Located in the immediate vicinity of Horti Sallustiani, this exclusive five-star boutique hotel is becoming a new must-see for international and local guests where design meets gastronomy, elegance intertwines with creativity, and is inspired by Rome's rich artistic and historical heritage. 

Every art'otel  has an artist as its trademark, turning the hotel into its largest permanent collection. In Rome, the choice could only fall on Pietro Ruffa – a visionary, internationally recognized Roman artist.

His works define the interior of art'otel Rome Piazza Sallustio, decorating the rooms and common areas with original works inspired by the city's historical layers, from the starry sky to ancient Roman iconography. After collaborations with Dior and the Vatican Library, and being named Artist of the Year by Inside Art magazine, Ruffo now brings his vision to every corner of the hotel. 

Ruffo's latest exhibition, L'ultimo meraviglioso minuto, delighted visitors at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni. For those who missed it, the good news is that by August, the hotel's first exhibition in the Art Gallery, Mappare l'Invisibile, will be entirely dedicated to the artist and is open to guests and local visitors for free.

This exhibition will mark the inauguration of a cultural center inside art'otel Rome Piazza Sallustio, which will organize exhibitions and cultural events as part of art'beat, the brand's curated cultural program. Designed as a creative meeting space, the Art Gallery will host young and local artists, becoming one of Rome's most dynamic venues for private parties, business meetings and cultural gatherings.

From an art gallery to a vibrant upstairs bar, art'beat – whose official launch is scheduled for mid-April – will present an exclusive program of events dedicated to art, music, fashion, wellness and gastronomy, bringing together both guests and local visitors.

The hotel offers 99 guest rooms, including 11 attractive suites with private terraces, along with a top-notch gastronomic experience at the YEZI restaurant and bar modeled after traditional Asian teahouses, a state-of-the-art fitness center and sauna.

On the ground floor, with a sunny terrace designed by Pietro Ruffo, the hotel will open YEZI, a pan-Asian restaurant, in April, a revolutionary addition to Rome's gastronomic landscape. As part of art'otel hotel in Zagreb There is also the Pan-Asian restaurant YEZI, which, since its opening in November 2023, has been delighting with its special gastronomic concept with the largest selection of various dim sum dishes and provides a unique and rich culinary experience in the pleasant atmosphere of an attractive space.

After great success in Zagreb, where it became a favorite place for gourmets, head chef Werner Seebach (who also created the concept YEZI Zagreb restaurants) and head chef Giordano Gianforchetti now bring their dynamic, modern and unexpected cuisine to Piazza Sallustio, celebrating the harmony of Asian flavors from the dishes to the cocktail menu, inspired by the ancient trade routes that led to Rome.
