Vukovar-Srijem County encourages investments in additional accommodation: up to 8.000 euros in support for swimming pools

The Administrative Department for Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Vukovar-Srijem County has announced a Public Call for Grants for Investment in Additional Accommodation Facilities by Co-financing the Construction of Outdoor Swimming Pools.

According to the items in the call for non-reimbursable grants from the county, they will be awarded in the amount of a maximum €8.000 per business entity for the construction of an outdoor swimming pool with a minimum water layout area of ​​25 m2, and up to 50% of eligible costs excluding VAT, and the total value of the call is 24.000,00 euros.

The basic requirement for applying to the call is that business entities that are eligible for support must have their residence and headquarters in Vukovar-Srijem County and that the project will be implemented in that area.

"The purpose of the call is to increase the number of tourist arrivals and overnight stays, improve the quality of tourist services and facilities, develop a tourist offer with higher added value that will enable higher average tourist spending, improve the quality of accommodation capacities and create a recognizable tourist destination., says the head of the County Administrative Department for Tourism, Culture and Sports Tamara Kalistović.

Applicants can apply no later than until May 24, 2026, and funds are allocated in the order they are received.
