The Croatian Rural Tourism Association has opened applications for four online presentations of study programs related to career development in rural tourism and rural areas. The presentations will take place from March 16-19, and the Association invites high school graduates to apply in as many numbers as possible.
They will present their study programs eight higher education institutions namely: Faculty of Economics and Agronomy Zagreb, Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, Polytechnic in Križevci, Polytechnic of Međimurje in Čakovec, Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega - Futurra, Polytechnic in Rijeka and Polytechnic in Virovitica.
Uz interactive presentations study programs, students will also share their experiences, while graduates will have the opportunity to ask questions about various aspects of studying, such as enrollment, student internships, exchange abroad, and the like.
Currently, there are various study programs related to rural tourism, as well as study opportunities throughout Croatia. However, the Association's research and the experience of service providers show that Young people are reluctant to decide on career development in rural areas and also in rural tourism.
"Our desire is to bring the study programs closer to as many high school graduates as possible, especially those from rural areas to whom presentations in physical form are often inaccessible. I would like to thank the institutions involved, and all the high schools that responded to our call and passed on the information to their students. At the presentations, we will also show interesting video content created by our interns, and we believe that we will stimulate interest in career development in rural Croatia.", she pointed out Aleksandra Kuratko Mrs., head of the Association.
