"POREČ SUMMER 2026" PROGRAM PRESENTED

Poreč Summer 2026 brings more than three months of events, music, culture and entertainment

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in Olga Ban Park in Poreč, the Poreč Tourist Board held a press conference to present the event program. "Poreč summer 2026".

It is an umbrella summer event that traditionally brings together a series of cultural, entertainment and artistic events at the most attractive locations in the city.

The conference was attended by the Mayor of Poreč, Mr. Loris Peršurić and the director of the Poreč Tourist Board, Mr. Nenad Velenik, who presented this year's program and highlighted its significance for positioning Poreč as the cultural and tourist center of Istria.

"Poreč Summer is one of the most important projects of the Poreč Tourist Board, as it further enriches the stay of our guests through a diverse and high-quality program, but also provides content that our fellow citizens enjoy. Our goal is to create an authentic experience of the destination and show that Poreč is not just a city of sun and sea, but a destination of culture, music, gastronomy and events.

We are particularly pleased that the program brings together a large number of local associations, artists, musicians and partners, thereby creating the atmosphere of a city that lives throughout the summer. It is precisely such activities that contribute to the quality of the tourist product, the extension of the season and the recognition of Poreč on the domestic and international market.", said Velenik.

This summer, Poreč will once again confirm its status as one of the liveliest and most attractive tourist destinations on the Adriatic. The Poreč Summer 2026 event, which lasts from June to the end of September, brings a rich program of musical, cultural, gastronomic, sports and entertainment events intended for citizens and numerous guests.

The program will be held at the most beautiful city locations - from the Poreč waterfront and Freedom Square to Olga Ban Park, the Euphrasian Basilica and the old town core, transforming the city into a large open-air stage.

The official opening of the Poreč Summer Festival will be held on June 21st with a concert Matija Cveka & The Funkensteins in the Poreč marina, which kicks off the season of numerous outdoor music events.

During the summer, visitors can expect concerts by domestic and foreign performers, programs Music on Square i Sunset Vibes, performances by tribute bands (The Beatles (30.07.), Eros Ramazzotti 13.08.), Lucio Dalla - Pino Daniele (05.08.),  dedicated to world music legends, as well as a concert Klapa Iskon (16.07.).

Classical music lovers will once again enjoy top-notch performances in the unique ambiance of the Euphrasian Basilica, while jazz lovers will be greeted by concerts under the starry sky in the lapidary of the Poreč Heritage Museum.

Special emphasis was placed on Istrian gastronomy and the promotion of local products.

During the summer there will be Festivals of Istrian indigenous products, Gelato Park – Ice Cream Festival (26.06.-28.06.), POCO – Poreč Cocktail Festival (10.07.-11.07.), Istrian Garlic Festival (01.08.-02.08.) and Tunalicious Festival (07.09.-13.09.), which traditionally marks the end of the main tourist season.

The cultural program features interpretive walks La mula de Parenzo Tour, street art festival Street Art Porec and attractive Mystic forest in Olga Ban Park, which creates a special experience for visitors of all generations through light installations and artistic content.

The end of August is reserved for Poreč Dolphin (29.08.-30.08.), one of the most famous sporting events in Croatia, which brings together recreational swimmers and athletes through swimming marathons, aquathlon, SUP and water polo competitions.

Traditional folk festivals enrich the summer program this year as well. Deadlines in Nova Vas will be held on August 16th, while Saint Anne in Červar to be celebrated on July 26. During the summer, Červar will be further enlivened by regular fishermen's festivals that offer visitors an authentic blend of gastronomy, music and the Mediterranean way of life.

Over the years, the Poreč Summer has become much more than a program of events. Through a combination of culture, music, sports, gastronomy and tradition, it represents an important tool for the development and promotion of the destination and further confirms Poreč as a city that attracts visitors with its activities throughout the summer, but also outside the main tourist season.

''I would like to thank the Tourist Board of the City of Poreč and all the partners who participated in the preparation of the 'Poreč Summer 2026' program - an event that confirms year after year that Poreč is the center of events in Istria, not only in summer, but all year round. I am proud that our city is raising the bar in everything, including events during the summer, and is becoming a place that lives to the fullest. This year, we have the already well-known and beloved ice cream festival, the cocktail festival and the La mula de Parenzo walk, as well as cinema and concerts, but also numerous novelties and different locations, and the newly renovated part of our waterfront, which citizens will certainly enjoy, also contributes to this. All of this further strengthens our position as one of the leading cultural and tourist centers in Istria and beyond. I invite all fellow citizens, as well as the numerous guests who come to us from all over the world, to join us, enjoy the program and experience Poreč together with us., Peršurić said.
