Philippe Burq has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Adriatic Luxury Hotels, with a term starting on April 1, 2026.
In this position, he succeeds Mr. Antun Jakobušić, who will continue to serve as a member of the Management Board, responsible for finances, controlling and procurement.
Burq brings rich international experience in operational excellence, organizational transformation and improvement of business performance. Adriatic Luxury Hotels comes from McKinsey & Company, where he led complex projects in various industries, including mining, manufacturing and transportation, as well as the public sector, for over a decade.
He has a master's degree in business administration (MBA) at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on management, marketing and operations. He also holds degrees in civil engineering, transport and logistics from leading universities in Chile and France.
