The Nikola Tesla Experience Center in Karlovac exceeded all expectations

Sixteen thousand visitors have passed through the Nikola Tesla Experience Center since its opening. This figure has exceeded all expectations, and is just one indicator of the good work and the path the Center is taking.

Point on i The NTEC project is today's final conference, which also mentioned the results of the Center's work so far, as well as everything planned for the future, and the future is exactly what Nikola Tesla himself always looked towards.

"Karlovac and Karlovac County deserve Tesla, and Tesla looked to the future, and we want to do the same, to provide future generations with a place of knowledge, innovation and opportunities to achieve all this together in business. Many generations before us have thought about how to thank the historical fact that Nikola Tesla was a student at the Karlovac Gymnasium for three years. This Center has met all our expectations and even exceeded them," the mayor said Martina Furdek-Hajdin.

The construction of the Nikola Tesla Experience Center took five years, and a total of 6,5 million euros were invested in the Center and the parking lot that is part of the project. 3,1 million euros were secured through the ITU mechanism, Karlovac County invested 2,3 million euros, the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds and the Ministry of Culture and Media also participated in the financing with a total of 0,4 million euros, and the city of Karlovac provided 0,7 million euros.

"What I want to especially highlight within the project itself are the indicators. The indicators of this project were focused on the number of entrepreneurs and novice entrepreneurs who will be included in the project. We have fulfilled this and not only fulfilled it, but four times more entrepreneurs have been included through advisory services in this project. I am extremely pleased with that and it is the credit of my colleague, the advisors to entrepreneurs in our center.", emphasized the director of NTEC Martina Marušić Britvec.

That the Center itself is interesting and useful to young people, which is what is expected of it, was also shown by the surprise of the conference, which was a phenomenal lightning bolt, made on a 3D printer, by the author, a 1st grade student at the Karlovac Technical School, Karlo Muić.
