FlixBus introduces new bus lines and increases daily departures in Croatia

FlixBus is from December 1st, a new expansion of the network of domestic bus lines has begun, significantly increasing the availability of public transport between cities and regions in Croatia. By introducing more than 40 new and increased departures per day, around 130 destinations in the country are now connected. This is one of the largest single expansions within the Croatian network in recent years.

These changes follow regulatory adjustments in the bus transport market, which opens up space for further liberalization and competition in the sector. This improves the accessibility of transport for residents of smaller communities and increases the number of daily connections between key urban and regional centers.

Some of the most frequented routes have been given more departuresFor example, between Zagreb, Rijeka and Pula now operates 17 departures per day, the same number on the route Zagreb – Varaždin – Čakovec. Greater connection was also announced to Slavonia, where eight daily departures were introduced towards Osijek. This further opens up the traffic potential of the north of the country towards the coast, and allows passengers a more flexible choice of dates.

FlixBus Director for Croatia and the region, Ante Grbeša, pointed out that by increasing the number of departures, conditions are created for more even mobility in the country and additional opportunities for local communities.

The new phase of expansion includes adapting to the habits of passengers on both short and long-haul routes, with additional services such as Wi-Fi and ticket sales via the app. Some of the new lines are being promoted through special price offers, so Tickets available from €1,99 on certain routes.
