Citrus Park - scents and flavors of the Mediterranean along the Umag waterfront

On the Umag waterfront, which some call the most beautiful Istrian promenade, a new theme park is emerging in part of the Humagum park - Citrus Park.

The Citrus Park is a new project that, in addition to the aesthetic charge it offers to walkers, gives the city an additional touch of the Mediterranean, thus creating a perfect recipe made up of a pleasant Mediterranean climate, the unique scent of the sea, an elegant stone-paved promenade, and the fresh scent of citrus fruits that adorn the park itself, according to the City of Umag.

The new park brings a touch of the Mediterranean to the heart of this area, combining the freshness of lemon trees with the vibrant tones of ornamental oranges. The project is designed as oasis of relaxation where visitors can enjoy natural beauty, colors and soothing aromas.

A park with carefully selected species is not only a place for a walk, but also a space for inspiration and connection with nature. The goal is that through a combination of aesthetics and functionality, the project sets a new standard for urban greenery.

Through its projects, the city of Umag shows its innovation and uniqueness, offering numerous tourists and fellow citizens year after year novelties in the city area, thus creating a dynamic and attractive area for stay, the City says.

Given that the guiding thread is sustainability and environmental awareness, most of the projects implemented by the City include planting new trees, maintaining and landscaping horticultural areas, while offering an educational note to the community and visitors, starting from the unique Mediterranean park within the Humagum Park to the newest citrus park that represents the pride and "highlight" of the city itself.
