Although tourism results confirm stable demand, today's market demands much more than just sun and sea, emphasizes the director of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board.
Ivana Vladović and adds that all relevant analyses show that guests are increasingly choosing authentic experiences, local gastronomy, sustainability, quality service and content that create a unique destination experience.

"That is why it has never been more important to invest in the development of recognizable tourism products that will set us apart from the increasingly strong Mediterranean competition. Central Dalmatia has exceptional potential for further growth precisely thanks to its diversity - from rich cultural heritage and Mediterranean food to active holidays, top-notch events, hospitality of hosts and an authentic way of life. At a time when travelers are increasingly looking for quality over quantity, these are our greatest advantages and an opportunity to further strengthen our position as one of the most desirable destinations. I believe that it is precisely through the presentation of our special features, local stories and values that we cherish that we can further bring closer what is most valuable to us - our way of life, our heritage and our hospitality", says Vladovic.
