As part of the 'Croatia Naturally Yours' project, five maple and linden seedlings were planted in Vinkovci

The Croatian National Tourist Board and the Ministry of Tourism are developing a project to encourage the development of sustainable tourism.Croatia is naturally yours" - "Croatia naturally yours". 

The Vinkovci Tourist Board has joined the project again this year in planting additional trees. This project achieves one of the most important goals of Croatian tourism, which is the development of sustainable tourism.

"In cooperation with the City of Vinkovci, we have chosen the area around the city's Banja swimming pool as the location for this year's tree planting.", says the Tourist Board.

The Vinkovci City Tourist Board and the Croatian National Tourist Board have concluded a Cooperation Agreement on the aforementioned project, in accordance with which they have included the planted trees in the European Environment Agency's planting monitoring application called Map My Tree, and each tree has the label "Hrvatska prirodno tvoja" - "Croatia naturally yours".

This year, five maple seedlings and five linden seedlings were planted.

The project has multiple values: it contributes to the preservation of biodiversity, aesthetic landscaping, and promotes environmentally conscious tourism that nurtures the natural beauty and identity of Croatia.
